So sorry to hear about John. I always looked forward to having lunch in the canteen with John when we worked together at Stockport Council, and when lately we bumped into each other in Chorlton. His sense of humour was wonderful - I think he was born to banter actually. He certainly cheered me up on many occasions. But a serious, thoughtful and caring man underneath the humour.
